पहिलेदेखि नाम कमाउँदै आएको छ । हाल दार्जिलिङको मम्पु र बर्मामा लाखौँ रूख
रोपिएका छन् । यसमा एमेटिन एलकालाइड्स नामक रासायनिक तत्त्व पाइन्छ । यस तत्त्वले
अमेविक डिसेन्ट्री ( आउँ-अतिसार) तत्काल ठीक पार्छ । यसको जरा बेलनाकार गाँठा-रेखा
भएको रातो/केही खैरो रङको कमजोर हुन्छ । यसको स्वाद तितो लाग्छ । मात्रा :
लेदो/धूलो ३-५ ग्राम, काँढापानी १/१ गिलास २-३ पटक हप्ताभर ।
Ipikauna
(Psychotria ipecacuanba)
Features:

America; now extensively planted in Darjeeling and Burma.
• Appearance: Roots are red to brown
with cylindrical nodules.
• Chemical Composition: Contains emetine
alkaloids, a potent chemical for medicinal use.

Uses:
• Amoebic Dysentery: Known for its
immediate effect on curing amoebic dysentery (diarrhea).
• Digestive Health: Utilized primarily
for its strong effect on gastrointestinal issues.
Dosage
and Administration:
• Powder: 3-5 grams of the powder mixed
with one glass of water should be taken 2-3 times a week.
