३-५ फिट अग्लो र दुर्गन्धयुक्त पत्ता ६-१२ अङ्गुल संयुक्त पहेँलो फुल्ने ४-५ अङ्गुल लामो फलभित्र कफीसमान बीज वर्षातमा पाइन्छ । यसको पात सनायपत्ताको समान विरेचक खतरा कब्जियतमा प्रयोग गरिन्छ। यसको बीजले ज्वर ठीक पार्छ, कफनाशक धर्म भएकाले रुघा-खोकी-दममा लाभ पुऱ्याउँछ । यसको बीजलाई भुटेर राखी कफीको समान प्रयोग गरिन्छ । मात्रा ३-५ ग्राम पात र फूल, बीज २-३ ग्राम, काँढापानी १/१ माना, अर्क : २०-२५ ग्राम १-२ पटक ।
