यो उष्ण तथा समशीतोष्ण हावापानीमा पाइन्छ । १५-२० फिट अग्लो बिरुवा, फूल सेतोमा सुनौला रङ पाकेको कटहरसमान अत्यन्त बास्नादार फूलको भित्रकेशर हुन्छ । सुगन्धित फूलको अत्तर निकाली धेरै महङ्गोमा बेच्न सकिन्छ । मानसिक रोग, एलर्जीकल समस्या, दिमागी रोगमा यसको फूलको धूलो चौथाइ- आधा चम्चा २-३ पटक खाने, पटकपटक सुँघ्ने, शिरमा तेल लगाउने गर्दा विशेष लाभ पुऱ्याउँछ । यसको बोक्रा र फूल चूर्ण समभाग मिलाएर १/१ चम्चा २-३ पटक खाँदा केही दिनमा मूत्राशयको विकार, मानसिक रोग, अर्बुद, समस्त रक्तविकार, प्रदर, मासिक अधर्म, धातुरोग, दादुरा आदि सन्चो गर्छ । यसको अत्तर ३-५ थोपा, अर्क : १०-१५ ग्राम, काँढापानी १/१ माना २-३ पटक।
