भुतकेश (Ragwort) नेपालमा पाइने महत्त्वपूर्ण औषधीय वनस्पति हो। यो बहुवर्षीय

झार वर्गको वनस्पति हो जसको उचाइ लगभग १.५ मिटरसम्म हुन्छ। यसको पातहरू भेट्नु भएको, ३ देखि ५ पटकसम्म अण्डाकार भागमा विभाजित हुन्छन्। यसको फूल सेतो र धनियाँको जस्तो मसिनो हुन्छ, र झुप्पामा डाँठको टुप्पोमा फुल्छ। भुतकेश नेपालका उच्च पहाडी र हिमाली क्षेत्रहरूमा पाइन्छ।

उपलब्धता:

नेपालभर भुतकेश २५०० देखि ४५०० मिटरको उचाइमा खुल्ला र चट्टानी भूभागमा पाइन्छ। विशेषगरी यो हिमाली र उप–हिमाली क्षेत्रमा प्रचुर मात्रामा पाइन्छ। नेपालका केही प्रसिद्ध उच्च पहाडी क्षेत्रहरू जस्तै अन्नपूर्ण क्षेत्र, लाङटाङ राष्ट्रिय निकुञ्ज र सगरमाथा क्षेत्र यो वनस्पतिका लागि उपयुक्त स्थानहरू हुन्।
